Our Policy
A few things worth knowing before you book with us
Booking & Deposits
Effective 2026
Booking Deposit
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your event date. Your date is only held once the deposit is received — until then, it remains open to other bookings.
Balance Due
The remaining 50% balance is due on the day of setup, before setup begins.
Short-Notice Bookings
For events booked very close to the date, with little time between booking and setup, full payment may be requested upfront to keep things simple.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
If You Cancel
- 14+ days before your event: Your deposit is retained to cover the time and materials already set aside for your date. No further charges.
- Fewer than 14 days before your event: In addition to the deposit, a portion of the remaining balance may apply, since materials and preparation are already underway by this point.
Rescheduling
Plans change — if you need to move your date, your deposit can be transferred to a new date within 6 months of your original event, at no extra charge, subject to availability.
If We Need to Cancel
In the rare case that we're unable to fulfill your booking, you'll receive a full refund of any deposit or payments made.
Damage & Security Deposit
Why We Ask for One
For rentals that include physical items — arches, backdrops, stands, signage and similar pieces — a refundable security deposit is collected alongside your booking. It simply protects the equipment we bring to your event.
What's Covered
Normal wear from a night of celebrating is completely expected and never counted against your deposit. It only applies to damage beyond that — items that are broken, torn, heavily stained, or not returned.
Getting It Back
Your deposit is refunded within 5 business days after your event, as long as everything comes back in the condition it left in. If something is damaged, we'll reach out directly with photos before anything is deducted — never as a surprise.
Delivery, Setup & Pickup
What's Included
Delivery, setup and teardown are included in your quote for events within our standard service area (Seattle & the Eastside). Events further out may include a small travel fee, which we'll always let you know upfront.
Venue Access
Please make sure we're able to access your venue during the agreed setup and teardown windows, and let us know about any venue-specific rules (loading dock, elevator, time restrictions, etc.) ahead of time. If access is delayed on the day, it may affect our setup time — we'll always do our best to make it work.
Other Vendors
If other vendors (caterers, DJs, photographers) are working at your event, we just ask that our installations aren't moved or altered once they're set up — this helps keep everything looking exactly as designed for your celebration.
Design Changes & Approvals
Confirming Your Design
We'll finalize colors, theme and layout with you well ahead of your event. Please confirm the final design at least 5 days before your event date, since materials are prepared shortly after.
Changes Close to the Date
Once we're within 5 days of your event, changes may not be possible depending on materials already prepared — but we'll always let you know if something can still be accommodated.
A Note on Handmade Décor
Every installation is handcrafted, so small, natural variations in color, floral placement or arrangement are part of the charm — not a flaw. Photos and mockups are a guide to the overall look, and colors can appear slightly different under different lighting.
Weather & Unexpected Situations
Occasionally, things happen that are outside anyone's control — severe weather, venue closures, emergencies. If something like this affects your event, we'll work with you directly to reschedule or adjust things as fairly as we can. We'd rather find a solution together than point to fine print.
Photo Policy
We will capture photos from the event. We will use the photos to showcase our work on our website and social media platforms. If you are booking photography services with us, we reserve the photography ownership rights.
